The next class I’ll be teaching at Tulpehocken Exchange is Pastel Portraits for Beginners. I’ll be teaching participants the basics of using chalk pastels and the basics of drawing one of the hardest subjects- humans. We’ll be learning proportion of the face, blending and application methods with pastels, using light and dark, and more!
Below is the flyer with information on date/time/space. It’s hosted at Tulpehocken Exchange, a new art space in Germantown, Philadelphia located at 47 East High Street. The cost is $40 per person. Sliding scale payment is available on an as-needed basis. Email info@handmadephilly.com to register. You can RSVP on Facebook by clicking HERE.
Here is a quick pastel portrait I put together of Adam Driver (one of the many husband’s I have in the harem in my mind) as an example of what we’ll be learning in the class.
