A few weeks ago I taught a still life painting class at the library where I work. I set up a still life with a cornucopia, maize, faux leaves, and decorative gourds and pumpkins. Class members were equipped with acrylic paint and 11×14 canvases. Some people had some painting experience. Others had previously painted, but on furniture. Everyone that attended raved about how relaxing and fun the class was. One person even told me a few days later that she cried tears of happiness because she loved the class so much!
