March Update- Pop-Up Art Show and a New Painting

I’m taking a little break in March from teaching classes so I can focus on creating some more original large-scale work. Of course, that doesn’t mean I’m not busy.

On Sunday, March 25th I’ll be participating in the All Kinds Pop-Up Art Exhibit happening at the Newark Arts Alliance in Newark, Delaware. CLICK HERE to go to the Facebook event.

And a new painting. This was my first experience with both watercolor grounds and gold leaf flakes. For those who are unfamiliar with watercolor grounds, it’s a compound used to treat canvas to make it suitable for watercolor painting. This is great for playing with watercolor without worrying about framing a piece in order to display it.
