Back in April 2017 I taught an upcycled collage making class for adults at the library I work at. I provided participants with an 8×10″ canvas, discarded library books, magazines, and newspaper, watercolors, and inspiration photos to get their imaginations going. I used an old heart shaped chocolate box to create the collage while instructing. (Pictured in the slideshow below)
I’m bringing another art class to the library! This time it’s upcycling used magazines , books, and newspapers from the library to make vibrant Spring collages. The class is on Sunday, April 9th at 12:30PM. There are still spots open! If you’re in the New Castle County, Delaware area call 302-834-4148 to register. As with the non-profit nature of the library, it’s free to attend and all supplies will be provided.
In preparation for the class, I put together a collage of the facade of the Delaware City Library with a blossoming cherry tree. See it below in the slideshow along with flyers for the class!
