I’m over the moon and beyond to announce my first solo art show. Strange Little Girls is an exhibit of mixed media and watercolor work from Wilmington, Delaware based artist Kirsten Ashley. Every year in late spring Wilmington turns its skating rink into an outdoor beach themed beer garden, complete with sand, boardwalk, and lounge chairs. It’s pretty fun. Last night I made my annual pilgrimage there. Sketching, drinking, and putting your toes in the sand makes for a rather enjoyable night.
