  • Every year in late spring Wilmington turns its skating rink into an outdoor beach themed beer garden, complete with sand, boardwalk, and lounge chairs. It’s pretty fun. Last night I made my annual pilgrimage there. Sketching, drinking, and putting your toes in the sand makes for a rather enjoyable night.

  • I write this on the eve of National Women’s Day. This year also marks the first #daywithoutawoman protest. Women are striking across the USA to show people what an impact women are in the workforce. Those who can’t strike wore red to show their solidarity.
