A new piece and an announcement! This one started out as a doodle during a work meeting and morphed into a full piece. I’m still debating on adding some watercolor washes for a pop of moody color. But we’ll see. The title comes from the Placebo song of the same title, which always spoke to me as a teen in that womanhood-is-brutal-and-terrifying-and -mystical way.

And now for the new show announcement…. I’ll be selling my wares at Bellefonte Arts Festival in Bellefonte,  Delaware, this coming Saturday,  May 17th. (Rain date is Sunday,  May 18th.) I will have select original pieces,  giclee prints,  hand-drawn laminated bookmarks,  pins,  stickers, greeting cards, and art jewelery. I made a few “eye roll” pendants just for the occasion, too. They have a hand drawn/ colored rolling eye under a glass setting.
